We are your French pen-pals, we are very happy to correspond you, certainly as you, so let's introduce ourselves. We are the european section group of a scientist class. We have a final exam before leaving high school, called the « baccalaureat» in June, the end of our scolary year. We are fifteen pupils in this european group, we have 3 hours more than the others pupils. At the « baccalaureat» we have an English test more than others, and if we pass it, we obtain the european mention in the diploma.
Our high-school is situated at Lens, a quite big city of 36 000 inhabitants, in the north of France. Our town is 70 kilometers far from Lille, which was the european capital of culture in 2007. Soon, in 2010, the « Louvre II » will be built in Lens, it's a museum as the famous « Louvre » in Paris. Lens is a cultural city, indeed, this is a student city where there are several schools of which 2 universities. There is also a big stadium,« Le stade Bollaert », which can contain more than 41 000 persons.
